Biography:
Selma Blair attended The New York University before graduating from the University of Michigan with a B.A. and a B.F.A. in Fine Arts and English. After graduating from high school, Selma dreamed of becoming a photographer. She moved to New York City to pursue her career, but she soon realized that her real talent and strength lay in cinema. Following her heart, she began to take classes at the Stella Adler Conservatory and The Column Theater. It did not take long for the entertainment industry to discover her touching and powerful charisma and talent. After attending one of her acting classes, an agent gave to Selma her first chance, the commercial for the Theater of Virginia. Her path to become a great movie star was paved, and after a series of excellent works, Selma Blair received her most important chance in the polemic, but excellent, Cruel Intentions. Originally, she audtioned for the role of Buffy on the tv show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and was supposed to be a regular on the tv show "Getting Personal, " but was fired after the original pilot.
